A good example of conceptual design

A conceptual design is the core idea driving the design of a product, explained via a collection of sketches, images, and a written statement. This helps the designers and, later, the developers stay on track throughout the creative process.

CommUnity aims to promote peace and harmonious coexistence through artistic and cultural expression. It puts beauty and arts to the service of peace and in the hands of young people, it also aims to tackle push factors such as marginalisation, inequality, discrimination and denial of rights and to create new opportunities to promote peace and shared values through artistic and cultural expression. By giving a voice to young people, including those  who are feeling marginalized or unfairly treated we can build powerful communities with an enhanced sense of belonging

In in general the holding hands meaning multiracial bonding and togetherness, the symbol of the hands here is interpreted as the embodiment of strength, help, protection and power

hands are very iconic image, most of the time you see them used in community or charity corporations.

The symbol has positive meanings, so we can see depicts kind hands protecting each other. 

When taking a clear view to the Logo, we can understand the significance of the establishment of this community project, this indicates that the conceptual design was present from the start of the project.

A combination of colours used in the logotype work perfectly together to show the purpose of the design, So in this logotype, there isn’t a specific colour which would necessary stand out. 

This means that colours work perfectly together to show the main purpose of this logo.

Neema Women Community is a company incorporated in England

and Wales.

Neema means “a Blessing” in Swahili, and this was the first thing that catch my attention , because it is very close to the Arabic language, in Arabic the word “Neema” has the same meaning .

NEEMA Women aim to take charge of mental health and well-being, providing support for personal, economic, and social development and projects as well as educating future generation.they aspire to make a difference in the lives of thousands of women and families that through our services and our support, they will acquire the autonomy required to lead a productive and rewarding life and contribute to the development of our community. We know how important it is to keep a healthy mind in order to keep a healthy body.

About the logo we can see the woman’s head bent forward as a sign of sadness or dissatisfaction and the meaning of the map combined with the women’s face indicates that the service supporting all women of the world.

but to be honest the woman’s sad appearance was not a good choice, when the design is related to helping or empowering women, perhaps it is better to motivate them to be strong, showing the strength and freedom that exists within each one of us.

So overall this vector lacks conceptual design.

I have designed the logo below.

Personally,  for this logo would have been better if was to be drawn in a  different way.

here is an attempt to find a different way of subtracting using hand drawing 

the goal is to make women appear stronger, more outgoing and

targeting pink as it gives a sense of positivity and a feeling of feminine and powerful.

My redesign of the ‘Neema Women Community’ logo

I wanted to add a background to the logo, the first choice was a blue, as the harmony between these colours is wonderful and increases the warmth to design.
